At Beaches Resorts, staff cater to children by providing age-appropriate activities for all ages, from toddlers to teens. Your kids will feel as if they are in the loving hands of a family member who only wants to spoil them. Have a special needs child? Beaches is the world’s first resort company to complete the IBCCES program and receive Autism Certification! They provide personalized service, fun activities, and custom dining alternatives to families with children with autism and other special needs so that all families may have a memorable vacation.
The International Nanny Association, America’s oldest and largest in-home child care association, is certify each nanny and Kids Camp personnel at Beaches Resorts. Each person working with kids must complete a minimum of 2,000 hours of child-care services in order to be accredited as well as have received training in child development, nutrition, and safety.
INFANT PROGRAM (AGES 0-2 YEARS)
From the tiniest infant up to 24 months, your little one will be well cared for by the certified staff. Spacious, climate-controlled nurseries stocked with cribs, strollers, high chairs, rocking chairs, and anything else your child could possibly need are ready to cradle them in the lap of luxury. Operating Hours: Three sessions are available daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Hours vary at each resort)
TODDLER PROGRAM (AGES 3-4 YEARS)
Toddlers will have plenty of opportunity for fun: toddler pools, shell collecting, face painting, treasure hunts, puppetry, costume time, magic performances, and sand castle building. To participate in this age group, children must be potty trained.
Every day, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., three sessions are available (Hours vary at each resort)
NAVIGATORS PROGRAM (AGES 5-7 YEARS)
There are a variety of imaginative and exciting activities ranging from Beach Science to Beach Olympics and Kids Talent Shows to Treasure Hunts, arts and crafts, and more.
ADVENTURERS PROGRAM (AGES 8-10 YEARS)
Scavenger hunts, beach soccer, capture the flag, water pong, reggae jam sessions, and more await your adventurous kids!
TWEENS PROGRAM (AGES 11-14 YEARS)
Tweeks stay occupied with tailor–made entertainment specifically for them, from Dive–In Movies to Karaoke to a whole universe of water sports and activities! Beach soccer, beach volleyball, flag football, and other activities are available for tweens as well.
TEEN PROGRAM (AGES 15-17 YEARS)
Teens have their own spaces and places at Beaches Resorts. They provide areas where they can hang with others their age from pizza bars to soda bars to their own “nightclub” with karaoke. They can also enjoy a wide variety of activities like group water sports, pool Olympics, tennis clinics, discos, boat cruises, talent shows and dance parties.
PRIVATE CHILDCARE
Looking for something more one on one for your child? Private childcare is also available from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. during your stay (for additional cost). Their nannies (who specialize in infant care for children ages 0-24 months) and childcare specialists (for children ages 2-17 years) are International Nanny Association accredited and have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Rates across all Beaches properties are $20 per hour from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
SPECIAL NEEDS
Did you know Beaches Resorts is home to the Caribbean’s First Autism-Friendly Kids Camps? They have partnered with The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), a global leader in online training and certification programs to become Advanced Certified Autism Centers.
Beaches Kids Camps ensure that team members have the necessary knowledge, skills, temperament, and expertise to care for all children, including those with autism and other special needs, and provide age-appropriate programming for infants, toddlers, preteens, and teens. You can also hire a One-on-One Beaches Buddy to accompany your child for the duration of your stay or just a few hours, including during Kids Camp hours and after-hours in a sensory-friendly place of your choice. 8am ‐ 9pm: $15/hr.
Julia, a beautiful and inquisitive 4-year-old with autism, is a welcome addition to the Beaches family as part of their Sesame Street character program. Julia is thrilled to welcome all children and their families to paradise with engaging activities like Amazing Art with Julia and fun character experiences designed with them in mind as part of Sesame Street and Autism: See Amazing in All Children.

Have a picky eater or a child with food allergies? No worries! Beaches has you covered. Their Culinary Concierge will walk you through all of their restaurant selections and assist you in creating personalized menus that meet your family’s unique dietary requirements.
SESAME STREET
Beaches Resorts are also the only Caribbean resorts where kids may interact with their favorite furry friends every day thanks to our exclusive agreement with Sesame Street®. Children can participate in activities such as Baking with Cookie Monster, Puppet Making with Bert and Ernie, Move and Groove with Zoe and Rosita, and much more at Camp Sesame.
You can upgrade your Sesame Street Experience to the VIP treatment with some amazing experiences!
- Night Night Sleep Tight. Even before their head hits the pillow, a Sesame Street® fuzzy companion may help make your child’s nighttime wishes come true! Before putting your child in for the night, one of ten Sesame Street® characters will join in on some soothing stretches, a bedtime tale, and a soothing lullaby in a calm, quiet environment. On a first-come, first-served basis, Elmo, Zoe, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Grover, Super Grover, The Count, Rosita, Bert & Ernie characters are available. Requests are selected based on availability. You get a 15 minute session with one character, a 5×7 color photograph and a Sesame Street plush toy per child. The cost is $85 for a family with one child, $30 each additional child and $65 if you’d like an additional character to join you for the routine.
- All Access Photo Session: Sesame Street® is all set to make you smile! This unique opportunity to meet Elmo and the gang takes place in a tropical setting* and ensures your child the opportunity to be shot by the Beaches paparazzi with all of the Sesame Street® characters at the same time. So leave your cameras at home and let our photographers take photos of all your Sesame Street® buddies during this 15-minute “Meet & Greet”! You get a 15 minute “Meet & Greet” session where your child’s photo is taken by Beaches professional photo staff and an 8×10 color photo with commemorative frame. The cost is $50 per family.
- Character Breakfast: What goes well with a delicious breakfast? What about having a good time with your favorite Sesame Street® characters? In a family-friendly dining environment, enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast with Elmo and his friends. You get a 45 minute breakfast where the Sesame Street® characters* greet and playfully interact with the children, a coloring mat with crayons, Mylar balloon, Character finger puppet, and 12 oz. sip cup. Pricing is $12 per adult, $16 per child (children under 2 are free).
- Birthday Parties: What makes a birthday extra memorable? Having a favorite Sesame Street® character around to help celebrate! Book a private party at a unique spot on the resort, and your complete company will be able to enjoy wonderful food and drinks, as well as all of the party necessities. You’ll get a 1 hour private party with a chosen Sesame Street® character, food and drinks, party decorations and music, birthday cake, one 8×10 color photograph with commemorative frame and one age appropiate birthday gift. Pricing is $250 for up to 5 guests, $300 up to 10 guests, $350 up to 15 guests and $100 for each additional character.
